Everyone likes a cute and easy treat for the holidays! You especially want some for Easter. Easter is full of pastel colors and yummy treats. It’s a really fun holiday to celebrate and a great way to get back outside after those long winter months because it’s finally warm out.
So, do you want to know how to make these super cute rice crispie nests for Easter? Just keep reading!
Ingredients Needed:
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 10 oz bag of marshmallows
- 6 cups of crisp rice (or rice crispies)
- Edible grass
- Robins egg candies
Directions:
Melt the butter over medium heat and stir in the marshmallows.
Continue stirring until completely melted.
Pour the mixture over the crisp rice cereal and stir until well combined.
Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray and shape the nests. To help you can also spray a spoon and use it to help make the indents. You can also do this by hand but it can get pretty messy!
Filling:
Let the rice crispies cool in the pan, pull them out, and decorate! You could also use coconut dyed green for the grass if you would like.
