HOW TO STOP TRYING TO BE SOMETHING/SOMEONE YOU'RE NOT
How To Stop Trying To Be Something/Someone You're Not
A thing we can get caught up in these days is trying to be someone that we aren’t. From trying to be like a celebrity, a famous YouTuber, or a famous blogger. It’s easy to get caught up in these things when you feel like you're not successful and they are. The thing is you have to realize they worked hard to get where they are. They took time to be themselves and it paid off in the end. If you're not being yourself or being creative then that will get you nowhere. Sure it’s good to look at others for inspiration but don’t be like them. There’s only ONE you and you are so unique and special in so many ways. Cherish you for the person you are and learn to love yourself. It’s not about who is successful now and who isn’t because if you would focus on you then you would be able to get there a lot quicker yourself. People look to content for creativity, uniqueness, hard work, not copycats and cheaters that took the easy way out. Why would you want to copy someone else's work? What would you do and how would you feel if it paid off in the end? Sure, the money and success would be good but you wouldn’t have anything to be proud of. Only because you didn’t work hard enough, you didn’t try hard enough, you used someone else's work. Also, think of how it makes the other person feel? Yes, it’s gonna be hard as hell to get where you want to be in life but it’s never gonna get you there when you keep stopping or using someone else as your worker bee. It’s time to get to work yourself. Get motivated, however, you like to get motivated do it. Then brainstorm your own ideas, kick ass to do your own work, and in the end I promise you it’ll pay off so much more than just copying other people's work and ideas. Think of just all of the great things you could come up with on your own. Your own posts, songs, recipes, etc. There are a ton of great things you could be doing that you aren’t. So get at it and stop giving up on yourself. Stop trying to be someone that you are not. You are your own person and they are theirs. We all have different directions and different things going on in our lives. We need to live for ourselves, not someone else. That person might look all glitz and glam on camera but you don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. They could be going through the hardest thing in their life just like you! Success isn’t about being someone your not, not one person got to the top that way. They got there through hard work and using their brain. If you want to be successful on your own, start by researching and making a plan. Use your brain instead of someone else's and think of all the ways that you can get there. Yes, there will be days where you don’t feel like being yourself but they make you stronger. Once you’ve done all this work though for yourself without copying someone else you’ll honestly feel truly so much better. The thing I like to do is brainstorm ideas for posts and how I’m feeling or what I feel like writing then I’ll literally just write it all in Google docs, edit my grammar, add some images and post. It’s that simple to just be yourself. Just write out your feelings, write out all of your great ideas you brainstormed. It’s so easy to be yourself and so much more worth it than you think. Not one person can fully love you if they don’t know you for the you that you truly are. They’d be falling in love with someone else. So find yourself, be yourself, and fall in love with yourself. Kick ass and do your own work and create your own content, your own everything and I PROMISE you it’s so worth it in the end. Honestly you guys, I used to copy people BAD but I got no satisfaction and just felt wrong and like I wasn’t doing my readers any good. Honest, I wasn’t spreading the positive words that I am today back then I was going by someone else’s head and ideas. That’s not me. That’s why today, I write my own content. Does it take more time and effort? Hell yes. In all honesty, though, I don’t regret one bit switching to writing my OWN content. It makes it so much better knowing that I wrote it when people comment on and share my posts. Not only that but I can go back and read my posts and realize just how much I’ve grown since those days. Trust me, it’s a satisfying feeling. So as I said, just be yourself. Don’t try to be someone or something that you aren’t. It's not worth it, whatsoever.
